Lake Park Elementary

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year!

I am excited to begin my second year as the principal of Lake Park Elementary School and my 11th year as a principal overall. It has been an honor to be part of this wonderful community, and I look forward to continuing the work we began together last year to ensure every child has a positive and successful learning experience.

My journey in education began during the 2006-2007 school year as a sixth-grade math teacher, a role I held for five years. In 2011-2012, I transitioned into administration, serving first as a Dean of Students and later as an Assistant Principal. In January 2015, I stepped into the role of Principal, where I enjoyed nearly a decade of partnering with students, staff, and families before joining Lake Park Elementary.

This past year has been both exciting and rewarding, and I am eager to continue building strong connections with our students and families. On a personal note, I am proud to share that I recently earned my superintendent endorsement and am completing my doctorate in Educational Leadership at Aurora University. These experiences have deepened my commitment to serving our school community and advocating for student success.
